Talking Things Over:
- Why is it necessary to show thankfulness for our salvation in word and deed? Can you explain why believers still fall into many sins?
- Why is it not enough to tell God that we are sorry for our sins? What else does God ask of us? How can you show God that you are turning back to Him?
- Why do you think Peter was afraid to confess Jesus? Are you sometimes afraid to tell others about Him and His salvation? Is it easier to talk about of earthly things?
Words to Remember:
Deny – This means to say “No.” This is the opposite of “confessing Christ.” By denying Him we try to push Him out of our lives.
Daily conversion – the daily turning away from self and sin back to God. It is also called “sanctification.”
